Xian Lim on role in ‘The Story of Us’: ‘It’s very new para sa akin’

<div><img src='' alt='022016-XIAN2.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>When asked if his new role in his upcoming teleserye <i>The Story of Us</i> would be daring, Xian Lim responded, “I wouldn’t say daring <i>kumbaga siguro nagpapakita ng katawan</i>, it’s very new para <i>sa akin pero ‘yun naman talaga ang buhay ng mga mangingisda eh</i> so I wouldn’t say daring, it’s very normal, but it’s just very new para <i>sa akin.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Xian will be playing the role of a fisherman and a tour guide in Palawan. '<i>Dito </i>I will be playing Macoy at si Macoy <i>ay isang mangingisda</i> at tour guide sa El Nido, Palawan<i> at ang kaibahan</i>. This time around locals <i>po kami ngayon. We live sa isla tapos kumbaga kung ano lang 'yung kailangan namin 'yun lan</i>g,” he shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>After years of being an actor, Xian remarked that he has learned a lot of things that he now applies on his role in the show. “[I learned that] it takes a lot of focus through the years. <i>Pero</i> through the years, it goes way beyond just taping. This is my take on it<i> na</i> it’s part of my life.<i> Kumbaga</i> people always asked me ‘How many percent of Xian do you see?” I say a lot, <i>mga</i> 80 [percent] I always say 80 because I leave 20 [percent], I mean it’s me.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Xian added that playing his role is a very memorable experience for him.  “It’s a life changing journey para sa akin to play a role as Macoy,” he stated.</div><div><br/></div><div><a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/56057/xian-lim-on-kim-chiu-na-miss-ko-siya/'>The actor is paired again with Kim Chiu in the soap.
