Matteo Guidicelli on spending Valentines with Sarah Geronimo: ‘It was sweet love’
021916-matteo_main.jpgOn Tonight with Boy Abunda, Dolce Amore star Matteo Guidicelli revealed his grandfather’s wish for him before he passed away. “Few months before he passed away, he told me, ‘Matteo, in Italian, ‘why don't you do a teleserye or a movie in Italian, play an Italian role and do it in Italy…’” Matteo’s response to his lolo was, “No, no, I said, ‘that's impossible why would ABS-CBN do a movie in Italian and do it in Italy speaking the Italian language?’”

With Dolce Amore now airing, Matteo said, “a few months after he passed, it happened. I think it’s him.”

Matteo spent ten days in Italy with Dolce Amore co-star Liza Soberano. Asked if Liza’s onscreen love team partner Enrique Gil got jealous, Matteo laughed and said, “I tried to make him jealous but it didn't work. When they were Facetiming I said, ‘dude I’m having ice cream with Liza.’ ‘Dude, I’m having breakfast with Liza,’ but I think his love is secured so no problem.”

How did Matteo spend his Valentines Day with his girlfriend Sarah Geronimo? Matteo answered in Italian, “I had the best Valentines of my life, because I was with the love of my life, and it was sweet love.”

Pictures of the occasion showed Matteo with Sarah and his brother Paolo. Matteo said, “we wanted to keep it private but it came out, but you know you can’t keep love private. Love is love, Tito Boy. Everybody should be loved, Tito Boy. Love is our universal language that makes us equal.”

He also admitted his worst trait is rushing things. “I like fast things e. Since I was a kid I used to race cars. When I’m very passionate about something, I just give my all. Alam mo bigay lahat, sometimes it does good, sometimes it doesn't, but in the end if you love what you’re doing it’s going to take you the right way.”

On Fast Talk, Matteo said the bravest thing he’s done is “love.”
