Zsa Zsa Padilla on working with Kim Chiu: 'She's a delight to work with'
021816-zsazsa_main.jpgZsa Zsa Padilla is set to star in the upcoming Kapamilya serye The Story of Us. The actress will be playing the mother of Kim Chiu's character in the soap.

"I portray the mom, she's from the province who migrated for work, took a chance there and never came back. Actually the story unfolds, it just stays there parang makikita mo lang 'yung mom in a flashback. They tailor-made it for me, mom [ng role] ni Kim, migrated, may conflict but that's okay, that's  normal. And I think no matter how good your role is, how good your character is, may mga conflict pa ring mangyayari," she said in an interview with Push.com.ph.

Zsa Zsa shared that she had a great experience working with the Chinita Princess. "She's a delight to work with. I've been working with her for many years. She's been in the industry for ten years ever since she won PBB."

She added that they have established a great connection in the serye. "I think it's nice, the connection that we have because in the story kasi makikita mo 'yung longing ni Kim for a mom and me naman longing for a child na parang nagkahiwalay because that happened to me in real life and I think if you are familiar with Kim's life story she lost her mom, you feel that eh when we're doing the scenes, it's very sensitive and when she's not looking at me, we’re doing drama scenes, the awkward getting to know each other [stage], sabi ko it's nice because we don't have to act, it's really just there."

Zsa Zsa invited people to watch this upcoming Kapamilya offering. "I hope that you will get to see the latest KimXi serye because it is going to be really good. It's really a simple story that's what we were told when we're doing the story con. It's a story that's very relatable especially to people who have relatives who migrated so they can easily say na 'Oh that happened to me' as a parent, as a child who work abroad and how it affects families.”
