Sue Ramirez on growing closeness with Ronnie Alonte: ‘Hindi na yun siguro mawawala’

120616-SueRamirez_PUSH.jpgAfter a successful digital concert with One Music earlier this year with her fellow artists Kristel Fulgar, Loisa Andalio, and Maris Racal, Sue Ramirez said she is patiently waiting for ABS-CBN to give her the right kind of project. Although there is a rumored teleserye project with Ronnie Alonte, Sue said there is no confirmation yet about it. "Actually wala pa. Nag-aabang pa ako ngayon. Ewan ko. Wala pa akong alam actually (about the teleserye). Hindi pa ako nasasabihan. Pero wala pa. Meron akong ni-record. Hindi ko muna sasabihin kung ano. Basta meron akong recording ng something for you guys. Abangan niyo kasi excited na excited na ako for it,” she admitted.

Sue said she is proud of her rumored real-and-reel love team partner Ronnie Alonte’s film Vince & Kath & James which is included in this year’s MMFF lineup. “Ang SueNie kasi hindi kami masyado nagkikita recently. Na-mi-miss niya daw ako. Tapos tinanong niya ako, ‘Na-mi-miss mo ako?Sabi ko, ‘Hindi (laughs).’ Pero bilang love team siyempre dapat nag-su-suportahan kami sa lahat ng mga ginagawa namin, magkahiwalay man or magkasama kami. I’m very happy for him na siya yung Vince nga dun. Introducing ata siya dun eh. Siyempre happy and proud ako for him,” she shared.

When asked about the status of their growing closeness, Sue said there is no need for them to come out with an official status. "Wala ng rating. Talagang close na kami talaga and hindi na yun siguro mawawala. Mahal na mahal namin fans namin tulad ng pagmamahal nila sa amin. Maraming maraming maraming salamat talaga sa support ninyo,” she said.

As one of the most promising young stars in the country today, Sue said she also understands the importance and impact of social media in the industry. The Star Magic talent said she hopes people would not abuse the power of being online. "Siguro the craziest thing for me on social media would be that the people have too much freedom to use it. Sometimes hindi na sa magagandang paraan like may mga hackers na tayo, mga posers. Bakit mo gugustuhin gumawa ng account as someone else when you can do an account for yourself di ba?” she explained.
