The Oscar-nominated singer-actress, passed away one day after daughter Carrie Fisher died.
Debbie Reynolds, passed away today, a day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died. She was 84. Debbie was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital from son Todd Fisher’s Beverly Hills home after a suspected stroke.

Reports said that they were arranging plans for Carrie’s funeral when Todd called 911 for help.
“She wanted to be with Carrie,” her son Todd told Variety.
The Hollywood legend is best known for her role in the 1952 musical Singin' in the Rain and also received a best-actress Academy Award nomination for the 1964 musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown. In 2015, the Screen Actors Guild gave her a lifetime achievement award, which was presented to her by her daughter Carrie.
Debbie married singer Eddie Fisher in 1955 but soon divorced in 1959. She remarried twice- in 1960 and 1984.
