PUSH.com.ph lists down the celebrities who transferred to the Kapamilya network this year.
1. Ogie Alcasid
From TV5, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid announced that he is now a Kapamilya during the press conference for Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids early this month where he will be the newest jury member.
Currently, he is a part of It’s Showtime’s singing contest Tawag ng Tanghalan as one of the judges.
2. Enzo Pineda
From GMA7, actor Enzo Pineda can be now seen in the primetime teleserye ‘Till I Met You where he plays a gay character opposite JC Santos. He is also part of the upcoming Star Cinema movie Extra Service with Coleen Garcia, Arci Munoz, and Jessy Mendiola.
Singer Jaya confirmed that she was finally a Kapamilya when she appeared on the noontime show It’s Showtime and Tonight With Boy Abunda last July. She transferred from GMA7.
A former Kapuso, Jona transferred to ABS-CBN last February. For her first Kapamilya project, she sang the theme song of the defunct late-afternoon program We Will Survive. Just last November, she held a solo concert at the Kia Theater titled Jona: Queen of the Night.
5. Ritz Azul
From the Kapatid network, Ritz signed a contract with the Kapamilya network last April. A month after, a press conference announced that a new soap opera for Ritz, Paulo Avelino, and Ejay Falcon was in the works. The 2017 teleserye will be titled, The Promise of Forever. She is also in the Wansapanataym ’s Christmas special titled, Santi Cruz is Coming to Town.
6. Vin Abrenica
Vin, another former TV5 artist, signed with Star Magic last May. He did several episodes of the Saturday program, Ipaglaban Mo. He also a cast member of the upcoming Star Cinema movie Extra Service with Jessy Mendiola, Aric Munoz and Coleen Garcia.
7. Danita Paner
A known TV5 talent, Danita surprised fans when she was cast to be a part of the primetime teleserye Magpahanggang Wakas which premiered last September.
