Jason Abalos reveals Nora Aunor’s early Christmas gift

122716-JasonAbalos_Push.jpgAs part of the MMFF family drama Kabisera, Jason Abalos admitted that it was an unforgettable experience working with veteran actress Nora Aunor. ‘Ah kaya pala. Yun pala yun.’ So kami sobrang blessed namin na nakita namin kung ano yun,” he recalled.

Jason said Nora made things fun on the set of the film which was originally intended to compete in last year’s MMFF. Galante eh (laughs). Masayang experience,” he admitted.

Aside from his fellow cast members, Jason said no other person was happier that he was working with Nora than his mom who has been a big fan of the superstar for many decades. Which is also why Jason was so happy when Nora gave them a special early Christmas gift.

Among all their scenes together as mother and son in Kabisera, Jason said he enjoyed doing one the most.

As he celebrates the Christmas break with his family in Nueva Ecija, Jason said he was really happy about the MMFF’s decision to highlight non-mainstream films this year.
