Matteo Guidicelli bares plans for indie film that didn’t make it to MMFF

122016-MatteoGuidecelli_PUSH.jpgMatteo Guidicelli has already come to terms with the fact that his independent film Across the Crescent Moon failed to make it to the 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival.

“It’s okay, I’m sure all those other movies are super deserving. They’re all great films. No bad blood or anything,” he said.

But this is not to say that Matteo didn’t feel sad about his film’s exclusion from the festival.

“I was just very happy to do that film, that particular film because it was super action movie tapos it’s going to be on the MMFF so I was super excited,” he shared.

“But then when they said na wala na, I guess I felt a little bad. But I saw the list and all those films are deserving,” the Fil-Italian star reiterated.

Although the film failed to make it to the cut, Matteo said they have good plans for it come 2017.

“I think they are going to release it next year. I don’t know where. Maybe international festivals,” he said.
