Ogie Alcasid says Regine Velasquez’s opinion on his career matters greatly

121816-OgieAlcasid_PUSH.jpgNow an official part of ABS-CBN, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid said that his wife, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez knew about his big career move.

Sumusuporta lang kami sa isa’t isa,” he said.

Nonetheless, Ogie said that he greatly values the opinion of Regine. “Pero mahalaga kasi malaman namin ‘yung opinion ‘nun partner namin. And of course, Regine’s opinion is probably the most important opinion to me, for me, next to God’s.

Given that Regine is from the rival network, he said that they would go to where they will be able to exercise their capabilities. He said that he found that venue in the Kapamilya network.

The iconic musician said that his 6-year-old son Nate is already showing signs of being a performer.

Saying that he and Regine would post about Nate’s fun activities on their Instagram accounts, Ogie added, “He’s a natural performer. Wala siyang inhibitions. Professional. Kasi syempre magulo. Siya, parang he was tailor-made to be an entertainer. May disiplina.”

Aside from being a judge at It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan, Ogie is also set to become a jury member of the upcoming Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids edition in 2017.
