Rhian Ramos shares what she learned after auditioning for ‘Saving Sally’

The Cinema Evaluation Board gave an A rating sa directorial debut na ito ni Avid Liongoren kaya masayang-masaya ang buong team ng Saving Sally including the lead actress Rhian Ramos.Sa presscon ng pelikula, ikinuwento sa<a href='push.com.ph'> Push.com.ph</a> ni Rhian na dumaan siya sa audition bago napunta sa kanya ang role.“The first and the only show that I had ever audition for was Captain Barbell and parang they just made me read lines. And so a few years later, this was four years na, I ever had to do another audition again.“This one, may dalawa o tatlo silang mga eksena na gustong ipa-try sa akin. So yon, binasa ko, mine-morize ko, and then the final pagsubok, parang binigyan lang kaming situation.“It was just completely adlib, ‘eto yung situation, kayo na bahala.’ So parang for that, it put to the test kung ano yung posibleng magiging chemistry namin ni Enzo (Marcos),” kuweto ni Rhian kung paano niya nakuha ang part ni Sally.Pero hindi raw niya ini-expect na siya ang magbibida sa pelikula dahil marami rin namang nag-audition for the role.“Well, without mentioning any name, a lot of girls from mainstream showbiz had already audition for the part and they were my friends and I heard about it and they told me about this movie also.“Wala naman akong masyadong expectations kasi kung hindi nga nila nakuha, bakit ko makukuha, di ba? So, ibig sabihin, may iba silang hinahanap. O baka nagteteleserye acting kami or something, hindi ko alam, di ba?” sey ni Rhian.Patuloy niya, “So, ayun, it was a real surprise to me naman talaga na makuha ko yung part and I was very happy and lucky to do it coz we had so much fun doing the whole film.”Idinagdag din ni Rhian na sa status ng career niya ngayon she’s still willing to do auditions lalo na kung gusto niya ang project.“Yeah of course. Kasi ano, eh, para bang… dati yung dahilan kung bakit hindi ako nag-a-audition is not because naman na parang alam n’yo dapat kung ano yung kaya kong gawin—panoorin n’yo yung show ko—hindi naman ganu’n.“It was just I was never asked to and I feel like if I read like a story that I like at gusto ko talaga na sa akin mapunta, I’m going to find my ways, I’m going to go there talaga the way I did with this project,” katwiran niya.May bagay din daw siyang natutunan sa pinagdaanan niya before doing Saving Sally.“This project also thought me to learn how to make decisions also for myself, na I could decide what I want and what I don’t want for myself.“So, that’s also something that I’m putting to practice now in my career lately na I want to be able to decide kung ano yung susunod kong gagawin, parang ganun,” pagtatapos ni Rhian.
