Andrea Brillante’s YouTube channel now has 172,935 subscribers and counting.
Teen star Andrea Brillantes' vlogger goals are slowly coming true after being awarded the Silver Play Button by video streaming site YouTube.
“Siyempre nagulat ako kasi hindi ko naman talaga ine-expect na aabot ako sa ganon talaga so super saya ko. Tapos parang na-check na sa isa sa mga bucket list ko na magkaroon ng ganon, she said.
The award is given to YouTubers who have amassed at least 100,000 subscribers on their channels.
To date, Andrea's lifestyle vlog has a total of 172,935 subscribers and counting seven months after it was first created. Andrea’s fans enjoyed her personal posts composed of fun challenges, features of her whereabouts, and her doable make-up tutorials since the channel was launched.
Although she has long wanted to become a YouTuber, Andrea confessed that she initially had second thoughts of pursuing it for fear of being bashed about doing it in the first place.
“Parang teleserye rin dapat pataas ka ng pataas pero dapat nakikita rin na nag-e-enjoy ka at gusto mo ang pagva-vlog,” she shared about the things that she has observed why a certain vlog is popular.
But now that she has received the award, Andrea said that she somehow feels pressured to create more and better content for her subscribers.
“Bumili na ako ng tripod ulit kasi merong time na nasira ang tripod ko. Tapos nag-invest na ako na bumili ng maraming ilaw para maganda ‘yung videos ko,” she said.
So what’s next for Andrea’s YouTube channel after this award?
“Iniisip ko kung magse-seryoso na ako sa makeup tutorials as in everyday make-up tutorials and gusto ko rin kasi ma-try ‘yung mga DIY (do-it-yourself) na make-up,” she said.
Prior to Andrea, actress Kristel Fulgar was the first Kapamilya star to receive the same YouTube award for her popular musical covers.
