Alexa Ilacad says majority of the songs on her album were inspired by Nash Aguas.
Alexa Ilacad was quick to clarify that she and onscreen love team partner Nash Aguas are not yet in a relationship.
Touted as the Pop Rock Sweetheart, Alexa got the media curious as to the real score between her and Nash after admitting that most of the songs on the album are about him.
“Actually siya naman talaga ang naging parang inspiration for the album and ‘yung characters rin namin from ibang shows,” she revealed during her recent contract signing and the launch of her album titled To The Moon and Back.
She also shared that her song “Dream Boat” is dedicated to her favorite Justin Bieber and her crush Enchong Dee. She dedicates the song “Puso” to her fans, while the song “Kahit Saan, Kahit Kailan” is for her best friend who lives abroad.
Her response has inspired questions as to whether or not they have finally “leveled up” their friendship.
“Well actually kasi kami ni Nash, meron kaming understanding with each other,” she began.
“Pero ako kasi talaga I’m not ready, I’m not thinking about relationship right now. Ang dami ko pang gustong gawin and i-achieve first,” she continued.
The 16-year-old singer-actress even joked that “Gusto ko kapag nagka-boyfriend ako milyonaryo na ako.”
Then how come the song “Kung Pwede Lang” was for Nash?
“‘Kung Pwede Lang’ kasi I knew he wanted because he’s already 18 and I’m only 16. And since 18 na siya he’s ready to get into a relationship. He’s really mature,” she said.
Alexa stressed that she’s not even mature enough and that she thinks she won’t be mature enough even after two years.
According to Alexa, she would only be open for relationship when “my mom tells me pwede.”
