Robin Padilla still hoping to get a US Visa to be with wife Mariel Rodriguez

<p><img src='' alt='110316-robin_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Robin Padilla shared the full letter of proposal from ABS-CBN executive Linggit Tan for an appointment schedule with the consul general appealing for the reconsideration of the US visa application of the action star on Instagram.</p><p>The executive explained in the letter that Robin is requesting for special approval to get a tourist visa to be able to accompany his wife Mariel Rodriguez, who’s an American citizen and will be giving birth in the US anytime soon.</p><p>Robin has difficulty fixing papers going abroad after he was convicted in 1994 for possession of illegal firearms but Ms. Tan attested to actor’s good behavior.</p><p>“I have known Mr. Padilla since he was a teen-ager as a newcomer in show business and we have worked together for the past 30 years. Besides, this request has been pending for over a year.
