Monteverde’s side regarding her recent controversial statements about the Metro
Manila Film Festival.

may magmumura kay mother, hindi naman tama ‘yun,” he said in an interview
during the recent Enteng 10 and the
Abangers blogger’s conference.
Bossing reiterated that it all boils down
“I go back to respect. Kahit anong sabihin
nu’n respetuhin mo. You may disagree with her opinion pero sabihin mo bakit ka
nagdi-disagree, hindi ‘yung magmumura ka,” he said.
Greatest Love star Mercedes Cabral recently made
headlines for her feisty comments which seemed to be in reaction to Mother
Mercedes’s comment drew flak for supposedly
calling Mother Lily an “idiot.”
Apart from that, Bossing also took the time
to react on the ongoing “division” between the independent and mainstream
“I don’t see any division. Pare-pareho
naman kaming nasa same industry. Ako, personally wala akong iniisip na iba
sila, iba kami,” he explained.
He reiterated that it’s still all about
respect since “Kanya-kanyang taste lang ‘yan. Kanya-kanyang paniniwala,
kanya-kanyang pananaw. But isa lang ang hinihiling ko, magrespetuhan kami.
Prior to their November 30 playdate, rumors
that Enteng 10 will be hitting the
big screen on December 7 also made rounds.
Bossing clarified, “‘Yung mga pinagisipan
namin, mga options naming December 7. But, after meeting with the theater
owners, we decided on the November 30 playdate.”
In the end, the seasoned star happily
shared that they are set to premiere in 200 cinemas nationwide.
