Kean Cipriano also talks about what its like being a father to baby Stellar.
In his latest comedy movie Bar Boys, Kean Cipriano stars with Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, and Enzo Pineda as a group of boys who enter the dog-eat-dog world of law school. The 29-year-old actor admitted it was easy working with his co-stars. "Solid yung grupo naming apat. Mas gumagalaw yung pelikula dun sa script kesa sa dialogue ng mga characters,” he shared during the Bar Boys presscon held last November 17 at the Blue Rocket Kitchen in Quezon city.
Kean also admitted that at this one point in his life he would still want to pursue becoming a lawyer if given the chance. Kung meron akong nakikita parang ano yan, bakit ganyan?” he said.
After the birth of his baby Stellar earlier this year, Kean said that fatherhood has definitely inspired him to work harder. "Definitely. Iba eh. Ibang drive. Family is the most important thing.
Even though he is a new dad, the talented singer-actor could not hide his happiness with his new family. “Fatherhood is a dream come true. It’s really more than what I expected. I don’t know what kind of father I’ll be. I just want to be a good dad. I don’t know. I have no idea. I just want to be a good person to the kid,” he added.
This year, the Bar Boys actor also celebrated his first year anniversary with Chynna Ortaleza in Japan. Ever since the start of their relationship, Kean has kept the details of their marriage at a minimum. I am blessed with a beautiful woman, with a beautiful being. I can never ask for more than that. She’s the woman of my dreams. Wala na akong ibang hihilingin pa,” he explained.
Even though they are both from showbiz, Kean also shared why it will be unlikely for him and his wife to act together in a project in the future. "Dapat, yun yung point. Hindi naman dapat kung meron kaming isang napagkasunduan ni Chynna eh siyempre na-establish nung tao yung career niya for the longest time so kung anong kailangan niya gawin, mission niya as siya gagawin niya tapos yung mission ko as ako. Pero at the end of the day, I sleep with my best friend you know,” he said.
Bar Boys will be shown starting December 7 exclusively in SM cinemas nationwide. Bar Boys is directed by Kip Oebanda under TropicFrills Film Productions and also stars Anna Luna and Hazel Faith Cruz. It is co-produced by the Rotary Club of San Miguel Makati.
