Official Metro Manila Film Fest entries for 2016 announced


111816-MMFF.jpgOpisyal ng inanunsyo ngayong araw ng pamunuan ng Metro Manila Film Festival ang walong kalahok para sa taunang selebrasyon Film Festival na dumaan sa mabusising proseso ng pag pili sa pamumuno ng mga miyembro ng Executive Committee tulad nina Allan Allanigue, Lawrence Fajardo, Krip Yuson , Ping Medina , Crispina Belen , Mae Paner , and Dr. Nicanor Tiongson.

Di tulad ng inasahan, ilang malalaking pangalan na nagpasa ng entry tulad ng “Super Parental Guidance” na pinagbibidahan ni Vice Ganda at Coco Martin, pati na rin ang “Mano Po 7” na starring naman si Richard Yap, ang hindi pinalad na mapasama sa opisyal na listahan ng mga kalahok.

Ang official entries at mapapanood sa darating na Kapaskuhan ay ang mga sumusunod:

"Die Beautiful" - starring Paolo Ballesteros, Luis Alandy, Gladys Reyes-Sommereux, Albie Casiño, Lou Veloso, Inah De Belen, IC Mendoza at Christian Bables; written and directed by Jun Robles Lana

"Kabisera" - starring Nora Aunor, Ricky Davao, JC De Vera, Jason Abalos, Victor Neri, Perla Bautista, Ces M. Quesada, Rj Agustin, Ronwaldo Martin, Ara Marie San Agustin, Menggie Cobarrubias, Coleen Perez, and Kiko Matos; written by Real Florido, directed by Real Florido and Arturo “Boy” San Agustin

"Saving Sally” – starring Rhian Ramos, Enzo Marcos and TJ Trinidad; directed by Avid Liongoren

“Seklusyon” – starring Dominic Roque, Ronnie Alonte, John Vic De Guzman, JR Versales, Neil Ryan Sese, Lou Veloso, Elora Españo, Phoebe Walker, and Rhed Bustamante; written by Anton Santamaria and, directed by Erik Matti

 “Sunday Beauty Queen” – starring Leo Selomenio, Hazel Perdido, Mylyn Jacobo, Cherrie Mae Britana, Rudelyn Acosta; written and directed by Babyruth Villarama-Gutierrez

"Oro" – starring Joem Bascon; directed by Alvin Yapan

"Vince, Kath and James" starring Joshua Garcia , Ronnie Alonte and Julia Baretto; directed by Ted Boborol

 "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank Part 2: Forever Is Not Enough” – starring Eugene Domingo, Jericho Rosales, Joel Torre, Agot Isidro, Cai Cortez, Kean Cipriano and Khalil Ramos; written by Chris Martinez, directed by Marlon Rivera

Kasama din inanunsyo ang walong pelikula na kabilang naman short film category.

“Birds” ni Christian Paolo Lat, “EJK” by Bor Ocampo, “Manila Screen” by Roque Lee & Blair Camillo, “Mga Bituin sa Siyudad” by Jerrel Serencio, “Mitatang” by Arvin Jese Gagui, “Momo” by AVD Liongoren, “Sitsiritsit” by Brian Spencer Reyes at “Passage of Life” by Renz Vincemark Cruz & Hannah Daryll

Marami mang pagbabago, umaasa pa din ang pamunuan ng MMFF na susuportahan ng mga manonood ang mga pelikulang napili ngayong Pasko.
