Judy Ann Santos shares how hands-on she is with parenting

101116-JudyLucho_PUSH.jpgCelebrity couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo celebrated their son Lucho’s sixth birthday with a party thrown by Lactum 3+ and 6+ at the SMX Convention at the SM Aura last October 1.

Giving a birthday wish for their son, Judy Ann said, “Of course, every parents’ wish naman is for them to be always healthy. Kami naman as parents, lagi naman kaming nakasuporta sa kung ano lang ang gusto ng mga anak namin. With Lucho, he’s such an active boy so we just wish him to be healthy always and to be happy.”

Judy Ann and Ryan now have three kids—Yohan, Lucho and their new baby, Luna. Being working parents, how hands-on are they?

Saying that she wants to be as hands-on as much as she could, Judy Ann said that she tries her best to be present in all their activities. “I have moments with Yohan, I have my moments with Lucho, I have my moments with Luna, same thing with Ryan. Kumbaga, we pide our time with our kids. But of course, it will never be enough naman. ‘Yung pagiging hands-on mom, iba-iba naman siya ng definition ng pagiging hands-on,” she said, adding that since they are working, they try to explain the situation to the kids.

“’Yung pagiging hands-on mom (and dad), for us, ‘yung feeling lang na ‘pag natakot sila, ‘pag may kailangan sila, ang una nilang tinatawag at ang una nilang hinahanap ay kami ng tatay nila. Feeling ko achieve naman namin ‘yun,” Judy Ann said.
