Matteo Guidicelli on Sarah Geronimo: ‘Mama loves her’

100716-MatteoGuidicelli_PUSH.jpgIn a report on TV Patrol, Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo celebrated their third year anniversary as a couple with a three-day trip to Cebu. Matteo talked about their whale shark experience. “It was Sarah’s first time, it was my first time also.” Matteo also bragged about Sarah, “magaling yun maglangoy.”

The couple had long planned a visit to Cebu, Matteo’s hometown, where his family lives. Matteo even shared how his mom took a liking to Sarah. “Mama loves her. Mama treats her like her own, I guess.”

Asked if his mom calls Sarah ‘anak,’ Matteo laughed and said, “Mama doesn't really call anak, she just calls Sarah, Sarah.” And Sarah, he revealed, calls his Mom, “Tita.”

Matteo admitted Sarah and he sometimes talk about settling down. He added, “26 (years old), e di okay pa naman. Ayos pa naman. We’re now enjoying life and we’ll see. We have to think about the future also.”

Fans are abuzz with excitement to see Sarah in a reunion photo with Rachelle Ann Go and Yeng Constantino. The trio used to sing together in the YRS segment of ASAP and the photo is starting rumors that they will do a movie remake of DoReMi. The original DoReMi starred Donna Cruz, Regine Velasquez, and Mikee Cojuangco.

Sarah said of the photo, “Pwede ng DoReMi.” She then related what Rachelle said, “ikaw ate Shin si Regine, ako si Mikee and then si Yeng si Donna Cruz.”  Sarah added, “kung totohanin why not di ba? It will be an honor to do a remake ng DoReMi.”
