Despite his celebrity status, top-rating primetime star Coco Martin remained in awe over the amount of the support that their show FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano has received from the viewers.
To give back to their supporters, Ang Probinsyano will be holding a star-studded thanksgiving concert on October 8 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Nakakataba ng puso kasi alam namin nakakapagbigay kami nang magandang aral lalo na sa mga kabataan,” said Coco in an interview during their recent anniversary press conference.
Coco was very proud that they are, in a way, helping the police force in terms of strengthening their image.
“Sana sa pamamagitan nito maibalik natin ang pagmamahal at tiwala sa mga kapulisan,” he said.
Ang Probinsyano recently received a number of awards from several private and education-based award-giving bodies. The highly-acclaimed star gushed about the said feats describing the feeling as “heavenly.”
But is he pressured to continue making the show number on its primetime slot?
Following the continued success of the show, several quarters are now tagging Ang Probinsyano as an “irreplaceable” part of primetime.
For Coco, though, such is not the case as their only goal is to provide a good show for the audience. He likewise denied that they are giving ideas to potential lawbreakers.
