Sharon Cuneta admits that she has difficulty trusting people nowadays.
Sharon Cuneta couldn’t help but air her emotions on Facebook. She admitted that she uses her Facebook page as her diary and apologized to her followers if they had to get involved.
“Pasensiya na po. At least this might make you understand certain things about me a little better,” she wrote.
The Megastar started to think how did she end up getting involved not just in showbiz but also in politics.
“I grew up having a mayor as a father and swearing to myself I would never marry a politician (I saw Daddy being used, abused, misunderstood, hurt, taken advantage of too many times. And sometimes I never saw him at all).
“Well, as they say, ‘Man plans and God laughs.’ Isn't that so true. Artista at mang-aawit at TV show host lang po ako,” she shared.
Sharon added that she and her husband Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan sometimes don’t get along when it comes to their political views but that’s not an excuse for her to air their dirty laundry because they have respect for each other.
Sharon mentioned names of various politicians who are her friends and shared that there were times when she had to make decisions about them.
She also shared how good her relationship is with Bongbong Marcos’s family, the Estrada family, Sara Duterte and the Robredo family to name a few.
I have been hurt and betrayed so many times that I find it very difficult to trust anyone nowadays.
She added that if there’s one thing that she’s pissed off about is Kiko’s political career because all she wanted was to live a peaceful life when she retires.
“‘Yun ang calling niya eh. Gusto niya magsilbi ng TAPAT. Lahat po ng meron kami pinaghirapan namin. Pinagtrabahuhan.
In the end, Sharon was just hurt by friends who doubt her loyalty because she has always been loyal to her friends. See her full statement below.
