The actor and former matinee idol said it’s his supply for a year.
Mark Anthony Fernandez was arrested yesterday, October 3 in Angeles, Pampanga for alleged illegal possession of illegal drugs.

The actor had in his possession marijuana that was approximately 1 kilo and has a street value of about P15,000.
In a report by ABS-CBN News reporter Trisha Mostoles, Mark Anthony admitted that he bought the marijuana for medicinal purposes.
"Gamot ko po 'yon, pangontra cancer. Ang pagkakaintindi ko po ay gusto nilang (gawing ligal) ang marijuana, kumbaga 'di ako nag-atubili na bumili. 'Di naman po 'yon mauubos ng isang araw, kumbaga pangmatagalan po 'yon. Parang sigarilyo po. Siguro mga isang taon at kalahati na po yon," he explained.
The police stopped tried to stop the actor’s Mustang at a check point because it did not bear a front license plate. A car chase ensued between Mark Anthony and the authorities which led to the police firing at one of the Mustang’s front tires.
The former Gwapings member will be undergoing a drug test and could possibly face charges under the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
