102716-MrWorld.jpgNasa Pilipinas ngayon ang nanalong first runner-up sa Mr. World 2016 na si Fernando Alvarez ng Puerto Rico para sa ilang commitments at para na rin daw subukan ang suwerte niya sa showbiz.

“I came here for endorsements (Placenta and Psalmstre). I’m also trying to create an impact in the acting world,” kuwento niya sa Push.com.ph.

Bilang paghahanda ay nag-aaral ng Tagalog ngayon ang Puerto Rican model.

“Right now I’m focusing on learning Tagalog and eventually do a telenovela here,” dagdag pa niya.

Hindi pa familiar si Fernando sa local actresses kaya nang tanungin siya kung sino ang gusto niyang makatrabaho, ang sagot niya, “Whoever and whatever comes first, but I would love to do a romantic telenovela like Dolce Amore.”

Patuloy pa niya, “I don’t know too much actresses here but it would be a dream come true for me to work with Dayanarra Torres because she’s Puerto Rican and she made a statement here in the Philippines. It would be a great, great experience to have a teleserye with here.”

Hindi pa sigurado ni Fernando kung kailan siya babalik ng Puerto Rico dahil susubukan daw talaga niyang magkaroon ng career sa Pinas.

“I don’t know when I’m going back to Puerto Rico because my plans is to work here in the Philippines. This is my second home ‘coz I feel that Filipinos are my family. More than that, this is the country that open doors since the beginning.

“I’m really thankful for that and I’m going to push myself further to make a career here and I will do my best,” sabi pa niya.

Para sa binata, ang Pilipinas ang kanyang second home.

“I feel much comfortable since the day I arrived at the airport. It’s like I’m coming home. I talked to my family and I told them that it feels so good to be back, I’m feeling like I’m really a pure Pinoy,” he said.

Posible rin bang ma-in love siya sa isang Filipina?

“Of course, I’m open. The path of love decides by the heart so I don’t know, maybe someday I will see a Filipina and I will fall in love, why not?” sagot niya.

Regarding the question about his gender, confident na sinabi ni Fernando na lalaki siya.

“I’m really a straight guy and I love girls, I love woman and I’m one hundred percent sure that I love woman,” pagdidiin pa niya.
