Piolo Pascual on finding love: ‘If it comes, it comes’

101216-PioloPascual_PUSH.jpgSun Life Financial’s endorser and Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual will once again lead the annual SUNPIOLOGY RUN with the theme Sugar Wars on November 19 at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

Likewise, Piolo was also launched as one of the brand ambassadors of the investment company’s Go Well, a health and wellness program, during its press conference at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza on Tuesday, October 11.

In line with this, Piolo, who is into cycling and running, was asked if he wants his future girlfriend to also be into fitness.

He answered, “Ideally, yeah. I remember before, kapag meron akong nagiging girlfriend, it’s either I buy her a bike or I invite her to run because it’s my regular activity so we do things together.” He added that it’ll be a plus factor if they can train together as they get to spend more time.

Single for quite some time now, the actor also shared his thoughts on finding love. “I’ve come to the point na I don’t look for it anymore. As much as I don’t have time for it, I just enjoy life and I still have so many things I want to do so if it comes, it comes and I hope it comes soon when it comes,” he said.

In an interview with some members of the media after the press conference, Piolo said, “Happy naman ako. Baka maunahan pa ako ng anak ko but grateful lang ako sa mga blessings na nangyayari sa buhay ko and besides, I enjoy life. Gusto kong magtravel, gusto kong marami pang gawin and just like what I said, when it comes, it comes.”

Is he okay with the possibility that his 19-year-old son Inigo, who is in a relationship with Girl Trends member Kelley Day, might settle down before he does?

Sana hindi. Sana ‘wag naman pero... He has a girlfriend already and hindi natin mapipigilan ang bugso ng damdamin ng mga bata,” he said.

Sharing that he advises him to live life, Piolo added, “Hindi mo kailangan madaliin ang buhay. Just be practical and be wise with all your decisions kasi ang isang pagkakamali, pwedeng maglead sa pang-habang buhay na pagsisihan mo, eh so just be wise and learn from other people’s mistakes and always strive to be better.”
