EXCLUSIVE: What's next for Alexa Ilacad after 'Luv U'?

012316-ALEXA.jpgAlexa Ilacad expressed her sadness now that her Sunday show Luv U has ended. According to the young star, she will miss a lot of things from the show.

"Super sad siyempre kasi parang nag-graduate na naman ako sa Goin Bulilit, napagdaanan ko naman 'to and ayon nami-miss ko sila. Mami-miss ko 'yung school uniform ko, 'yung set, 'yung lunch breaks namin na Korean food, 'yung bonding namin. Naku lahat mamimiss ko," she said in an interview with Push.com.ph.

She admitted that what she would be missing the most are the people that she got to work with on the show. "Pero most of all mami-miss ko sila kahit alam kong magkikita kami lagi pa din out of Luv U pero iba pa rin 'yung Luv U eh, iba siya parang lalo na 'yung staff and crew. But I have to understand all good things must come to an end. Kapag may mawawala may kapalit naman."

What's next for her after Luv U? "As of now actually focus muna sa promo ng Everything About Her and ayon I'm actually doing a YouTube channel and ayon part na ako ng Chicken Pork Adobo (YouTube group) ng ABS-CBN so let's see how that goes, kung ano ang mangyayari sa pagiging YouTuber ko and I want to pursue my singing career. I want to be a legit singer. I want to have an album," she shared.

Alexa relayed that she actually wrote a song with onscreen partner Nash Aguas and submitted it to a contest. "Actually I've written a song with Nash na pinasa namin sa P-Pop, nakapasok kami sa first few top pero sadly hindi don sa final pero it's okay dahil magagamit pa rin namin 'yung song and we like to write together and sometimes I write songs by myself pero 'yung for an album siguro I will entrust muna to a real writer kasi alam niya kung ano ang maghi-hit and all pero I would like to release a song na sulat ko," she stated.

When asked what the song she wrote with Nash was about, she shared, "Para siyang about two friends na best friends tapos one day nagising sila na may feelings pala sila sa isa't isa, 'yung parang na appreciate nila 'yung isa’t isa."

Is the song true to life when it comes to her and Nash? "Hindi naman pero parang na-inspire lang kami sa istorya na 'yun kasi hindi kami sure kung may songs na mga ganon pero 'yung mga lyrics kasi na ginamit straightforward. Basta for me maganda, maganda 'yung tune niya pero 'yung kung ire-relate sa amin ni Nash hindi naman ganon."
