In an earlier post on his Facebook, Wency had issues with the singer and called Jovit 'disrespectful.'
Musician Wency Cornejo took to his Facebook account on Tuesday to rant about Kapamilya singer Jovit Baldivino's supposed disrespectful action during their show in General Santos City.
"Nag-show ako kagabi sa Labangal, Gensan. Nakakalungkot isipin na may mga performer katulad ni Jovit Baldovino (sic) na hindi marunong rumespeto sa mas nakakatandang musiko," he started his Facebook post which now has thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
He detailed on his post how Jovit allegedly refused to honor his request not to sing his song. He however, did not mention which song was he pertaining to.
"Hindi man ganun kasikat, kung ang nagsulat at orihinal na nag record ng awitin ay kasama mo sa isang show, hindi mo dapat unahang kantahin ang awitin niya. Kahit pinakiusapan na hindi pa rin siya pumayag na huwag kantahin. It just goes to show, its very hard to teach humility, respect and class," he said.
A couple of hours later, Wency called the attention of the furious fans who expressed their disapproval of what Jovit supposedly did.
"Sa lahat ng mga nag re-reply sa post ko, sana naman huwag tayong manlait ng kapwa. Kung nagkamali man pwde naman tayo magpatawad. If you resort to name calling and bashing, it only goes to show that you are also lacking in respect, humility and class," he posted.
Jovit has yet to respond over the "Hanggang" singer's allegation. A check on his Instagram account confirms that he was indeed in General Santos City for a show.
