Vic Sotto says his upcoming MMFF film is different from his previous movies.
Vic Sotto revealed that shooting for his Metro Manila Film Festival
movie titled Romcom-in Mo Ako is about to start on September 18. Vic will topbill the film with commediane Ai-Ai delas Alas.
"On September 18 hopefully we will be able to break the ice and kaunting revisions na lang sa script," Vic said in an interview at the Citiglobal event. The TV host added that they are now finalizing the casting. "As of now, ayos na ayos na 'yung script, 'yung casting na lang 'yung inaayos namin," he stated.
Vic relayed that this movie is very different from the previous MMFF movies he has done. Unlike the past years, he will not star in a fantasy movie but rather in a romantic-drama movie.
"Definitely it's not fantasy and for me it's my first time doing a rom-com, talagang serious na rom-com and first time ko 'to," he said. Vic could not hide his excitement and he is looking forward to starting shooting the movie once the cast is already complete. "I'm really very excited na masimulan na ang pelikulang ito and hopefully maayos lahat ng casting," he said.
Vic said that they will share further details about their future plans soon. "Marami kaming mga plano, marami na kaming mga napagusapan and 'yun naman isha-share ko sa inyo, isha-share ko sa mga dabarkads sa lahat ng mga tao na sumusubaybay sa tamang panahon," he said.
