Dimples Romana is excited to be part of the ‘One More Chance’ sequel

The secret to everything she said, is with her better half.  “I think I'm blessed with a husband who really understands my work. It's very important to everyone kahit hindi ka artista na you have somebody who supports your dreams. <i>Kailangan naintindihan nla na may mga oras talaga na hindi ka makakauwi pero nakakatuwa kasi dadalaw sila sa</i> set. Alam niyo may pagka-hyper kasi ako so I sleep very little during the day. Basta feeling ko meron akong gagawin sapat na sa akin mga six or five hours, masaya na ako diyan. This makes me feel that I get to live my dreams of being an actress and a host and at the same time be the mom and be the wife that I want to be. At saka hindi rin naman ako yung parang wala na akong panahon tapos tatanggap pa ako ng trabaho. Kunyari isang bung linggo hindi ko sila nakita, for the next week hanggang maaari hindi ako tatanggap ng trabaho. It's all in the balance of things,” she shared during the Unilever Pure-It water purifier launch held last September 2 in Makati city.</div><div><br/></div><div>One of the projects she is involved in right now is the much-awaited sequel to the 2007 blockbuster hit One More Chance. In the film, she played the role of Krizzy who was the unofficial “mother hen” of their group. Dimples said even if it has been a long time, she has remained close with the rest of the cast which includes Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Saw, and Janus del Prado among others.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Alam mo nakaktuwa kasi hindi naman kami nawala dun eh. Parang hindi lang kami masyado nagkikita dahil yung buong </i>Bellini's Thursday <i>barkada, ano kami</i> eh we have our own lives. <i>Ako nagkaanak na ako ng isa pa,</i> nagiba na ang mga boyfriend at girlfriends <i>ng mga karamihan sa kanila,</i> <i>si </i>Janus (del Prado) is now part of many teleseryes, si Bea Saw already has two children. <i>Alam mo yung malaki na ang pinagdaanan ng barkadang yun </i>and yet every time we see each other now we feel the same. I'm still Krizzy, Basha is still Basha, Popoy is still Popoy but at the same time nag-<i>iba siya pero</i> familiar.<i> Alam mo yung ganun? Yung nagbago ka pero yun ka pa rin. Ang galing</i>. On Instagram I would post updates on when we see each other, what we do,<i> mga ganyan,</i>” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div></div><div><br/></div><div><img src='' alt='090315-dimples_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>The celebrity endorser said One More Chance was really a memorable part of her acting career. “My God, you don't know how beautiful the feeling is of being part of a modern classic. This is one of the modern classics Star Cinema has come up with over the past years. I know that Star Cinema has given us so many stories, so many beautiful love stories and family stories but you know that One More Chance will always have a special place in everybody's hearts. Nakakatawa yun kasi ang One More Chance kahit matagal na yun pinalabas nag-te-trending pa rin ngayon, ni-re-repost pa rin. They restored the film and showed it in Rockwell,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The 30-year-old actress also shared why the appeal of the movie is always going to be timeless. “<i>Eh kasi lahat dun nakaka-relate ka.</i> <i>Lahat tayo may barkada.</i> Si Krizzy is the ate of the<i> barkada</i>, Kenneth is the <i>kuya of the barkada,</i> they have the perfect life, the perfect family, medyo ideal. Si Janus is the clown of the barkada, siya yung nagpapatuwa, siya yung puso nun. Si Basha at si Popoy <i>sila yung mga</i> conflicted<i> pero sobrang intense ng pagmamahal sa isa't isa. Di ba lahat tayo merong mga ganung kakilala?</i> And somehow we put ourselves in one of the characters. Even yung character ni Maja Salvador and Nikki Gil <i>merong mga nakaka</i>-relate dun,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>With the sequel in the works now, Dimples shared what she thinks the fans of the film should look out for in the new storyline. <i>“Dapat abangan siguro kung saan ang pinagdaanan ng buong barkada. At saka kas</i>i the movie is really a whole beautiful process for each and everyone of us, even for direk Cathy Garcia-Molina, even for our beloved writers <i>sina </i>Ate Carmi at Ate Van and for everybody it's a whole new experience and at the same time it brings us home where we really met each other and dun <i>kami</i> <i>nag</i>-grow as actors, as artists,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>As a hands-on mother of two, Dimples admitted her newest endorsement is important to her family in many ways. Oh my God, I am the most kuripot mom (laughs). <i>Sa totoo lang, may mga bagay na sini-splurge natin ang ating mga sarili, ang ating mga anak. Pero may mga bagay din na kung makukuha mo naman ang same quality at same safety pero mas mababa presyo, saan ka? I feel very honored having Pure-It as one of the brands that I endorse. Karapatan ng buong pamilya natin na magkaroon ng access sa malinis na tubig at ang maganda no electricity needed which makes it very good to housewives na nagtitipid lalo na lahat ngayon tumataas ang presyo</i>,” she explained.</div>
