Grae Fernandez said that he is truly thankful for the numerous acting opportunities that come his way. Grae has already bagged various roles in television shows and even in the movies. "Siyempre po sa lahat ng mga blessings ko po very thankful po talaga kay God and very blessed ko po talaga na ma-receive ang ganong chances and mga ganong blessings," he said in an interview with Push.com.ph.
Even that he is now into acting, Grae clarified that he is still part of the dancing and singing boy group Gimme 5. "I am still with Gimme 5, but I just want to clarify 'yung Gimme 5 po more on singing and dancing and we have individual places for acting like kahit sa lahat ng mga artista ngayon hindi sila sabay-sabay sumikat so 'yun po," he shared.
When asked which one he prefers between acting and singing, Grae commented, "Acting po kasi sa tingin ko mas doon lang din po ako like may dad po, but I'm very happy naman na may singing and dancing din."
Will he leave Gimme 5 now and become a full time actor anytime soon? "Not yet po... I just want to explore acting more kasi pag acting talaga it's more like pangmatagalan talaga and if you stay in the industry for a long time it's acting talaga," he said.
With all the success that he has achieved, Grae said that his father, actor Mark Anthony Fernandez, is proud of what he has done. "He's very supportive and he's very happy sa lahat ng na-achieve ko sa showbiz and he says na he sees his self in me."
He further relayed that he is very close to his dad and that his dad guides him in every step of the way. "We're very good and we're very close he always comforts me in every struggle that I have." He hopes to work with Mark one day in a project. "Yes if he goes to ABS(CBN) I would love to work with him."
