Kris Aquino confirms she’s leaving ‘Aquino and Abunda Tonight’

Kris announced this at the press conference of Etiquette for Mistresses.</div><div><br/></div><div><a href='/videos/6951/kris-aquino-resigns-from-aquino-and-abunda-tonight/'>Kris said, “Babalik po ako sa Aquino Abunda on Monday for my final week.” She continues, “<i>Alam niyo</i> the health issue<i> na pinagdaanan ko</i>, I cannot do a movie and do two daily shows. And rightfully, the show should be Boy Abunda Tonight kasi three months <i>na halos siya mag-isa</i> and I’m so happy for him. And I’m just also so happy that next week I will be given the chance to close it properly and congratulations to Boy.”</a></div><div><br/></div><div>Boy said that that new show will actually be called Tonight with Boy Abunda, rather than “<i>Boy Abunda Tonight</i>.” He explained that it is not about him. Rather, it is about what happened “tonight.”</div><div><br/></div><div>He also revealed that it is going to be a transition show while they are preparing a new and exciting show for the Kapamilya viewers.</div>
