On “<a href='/videos/6931/producer-ng-show-ni-jovit-baldevino-sa-gen-san-nagbigay-na-ng-pahayag/'>Korek ka John</a>!” an online talk show hosted by comedian John Lapus, he read the full statement and commented that at least this situation has been clarified since both sides had already aired their take on what happened. Below is the transcribed statement from Baranggay Chairman Lorelei Pacquiao. Pacquiao’s group were the ones who invited Jovit, Alon, Wency and other artists to perform in GenSan. “Una sa lahat taos puso kaming nag papa-salamat sa lahat ng mga performers na dumalo sa Kagatbu Festival celebration last September 7, 2015. Lalung-lalo na po kina Jovit, Marcelito, Alon and Wency. Naging successful po ang show, personal pong nag paalam si Jovit kay Alon sa backstage para kantahin anng ‘Pusong Bato’ at pumayag naman po si Alon at sabi niya wala pong problema. Hindi rin po nagkita si Jovit at si Wency sa event. Sana po matapos na po ang issue na ito. Maraming salamat po.”

The show’s producer says Jovit asked for permission to perform “Pusong Bato” from its original singer.
