Matteo Guidicelli and Shaina Magdayao talk about their first team-up in ‘Single Single’

<div><img src='' alt='080915-shainamatt_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Matteo Guidicelli and Shaina Magdayao are set to star in a new TV series on Cinema One titled <i>Single Single</i>. In an interview with both of the stars, they shared that this new show is very different from the other projects they have made before.</div><div><br/></div><div>“This whole new concept of the show, it’s very new on TV, <i>kumbaga</i> we are going to call this a mini-series it’s titled Single Single. It’s going to air on cable TV on Cinema One. It’s going to be airing every Saturday night and<i> meron tayong mga</i> replays<i> sa </i>weekdays and<i> iba’ yung </i>style <i>ng</i> soap <i>na ito eh</i>,” Mattero shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actor further relayed the plot of the story will be about two people living together in one apartment. “The plot is about two single people living in one apartment together so imagine two opposites ‘<i>yung</i> personalities nila, a girl and a guy living in a one small condominium, apartment together s<i>o makikita natin ‘yung mga away nila, iba’t ibang</i> adventures and the girl will be played by Shaina (Magdayao). Her name is Joee and my name is Joey. Basically <i>makikita niyo ‘yung</i> how female and male conflict together, how two different cultures conflict so <i>ganon s</i>o it’s very exciting.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Matteo admitted that he got intimidated working with Shaina initially, but he later on overcame it and became friends with the actress. “[Working with] Shaina in the very beginning it’s very intimidating because she has been in this industry for a long time already. She’s super galing, great actress. But you know we talked, we got to know each other. She’s bisaya also<i> di ba?</i> Pag may<i> isang bisaya at bisaya, </i>click agad eh, the chemistry, the relationship between two bisayas always click,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, Shaina described her tandem with Matteo as refreshing.  “It’s very refreshing from ‘yung feel sa screen hanggang sa off screen talagang it’s something new, very exciting dahil everything naman iba… So this one, iba rin, kakaiba, it’s something unique na I guess makikita lang nila pag kaming dalawa ni Matteo ang magkasama.”</div><div><br/></div>
