They recently crossed paths and shot scenes together in the primetime series<i> Nathaniel.</i> “Alam mo okay naman kasi kami okay talaga kami, nagulat lang ako na makakatrabaho ko pala siya. Hindi ko kasi nakita ‘yun na mangyayari ‘yun ever but then I guess talagang ganoon lang kaliit ‘yung mundo ng showbiz,” she stated in an interview with Push.com.ph and Cinema News.</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress stressed that she is on good terms with John Lloyd Cruz and there is no issue between the two of them working together. “What’s important is I’m okay with him and he is okay with me. Actually no big deal because okay kami even before pa. I think medyo bago lang sa paningin ng tao na nakikita kami na onscreen kasi hindi kami nagtrabaho dati and that’s about it.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Shaina was actually the first one to approach John Lloyd when he arrived on the set.<i> “</i>Oo kasi ganon ‘yung lahat ng ginagawa ko sa lahat ng guest namin, you know, being one of the cast parang I think it’s just proper na wini-welcome ‘yung guest namin so hindi naman nagkaiba ‘yun. Parang feeling ko naman it’s just proper na siya man o hindi ‘yung guest i-welcome siya so ‘yung turn niya na maging guest siya I said welcome to our set kasi napakaganda talaga ng working environment namin.”</div><div><br/></div><div>In a separate interview with John Lloyd, the actor remarked that all is well between him and the actress. “Wala na naman 'yun. We're all grown ups. Ang tagal na non at wala naman talagang issue eh. Actually nong nag-decide ako na mag-offer ako ng trabaho na 'Sige pwede ba akong maging part ng <i>Nathaniel</i>?' Actually hindi ko naisip na 'Oops, oo nga pala nandiyan si Shaina.' Wala na po talaga yun eh na hindi na siya. Eh pagdating ko hindi ko siya nakita, siya pa 'yung nag-welcome sa akin sa set nila.'</div>
