Sheryn Regis reacts to ‘losing’ Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs title to Angeline Quinto

<div><img src='' alt='083015-sheryn_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Petite powerhouse singer Sheryn Regis, who is best known for being the former Queen of Teleserye Theme Song, is back in the country again.</div><div><br/></div><div>While this is not the first time that she came back into the country since she migrated in 2010, The Crystal Voice of Asia, in a recent press conference, relayed her excitement for her upcoming 10-city tour at various Casino Filipino branches.</div><div><br/></div><div>Sheryn has been coming back to the country every now and then. But according to her, her two-month stay in the country for her shows, is bound to be the longest that she has stayed in the Philippines to date.</div><div><br/></div><div>From the moment she migrated abroad, Sheryn has been well aware that a lot of other artists have cropped up. However she remains confident that she's not entirely forgotten in showbiz.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>I'm positive naman. Sa akin naman as long as may babalikan ako kahit hindi ganon kalaki ang shows as long as may nagbe-believe pa talaga sa akin</i>,' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Apart from being the runner-up in the talent show Star in A Million where Erik Santos emerged as the winner in 2003, Sheryn has been known for belting the theme songs of popular Kapamilya soaps. Among the shows whose theme songs she sang were Marina, Krystala, Kampanerang Kuba, Gulong ng Palad, Maria Flordeluna, Prinsesa ng Banyera, and many more.</div><div><br/></div><div>Nowadays though, the Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs title is held by Angeline Quinto. Sheryn has nothing bad to say about this issue.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Okay lang po at least may nakasunod naman. At least nabansagan ako ng Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs before which I'm very fortunate enough to have that opportunity na mabigyan ng trono na ganyan. Pero kung may bago naman, at least may chance din ang iba at hindi lang ako,</i>' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>While she hasn't really 'passed on' the crown to Angeline, Sheryn noted, 'Baka sila na ang nagpasa.'</div><div><br/></div><div>Personally, Sheryn is amenable over the fact that Angeline now holds the title because 'Yeah she's a good singer, I've worked with her, too.'</div><div><br/></div><div>If anything, Sheryn is happy that she still has her very own title.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Okay kang ako kasi i'm still the Crystal Voice of Asia kasi akin talaga 'yun. Pero 'yung Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs na title. For sure hindi naman forever 'yun eh kasi may susulpot at susulpot na bago,' she said. 'Kasi dati diba si Carol Banawa, tapos ako 'yung sumunod, tapos may sumunod</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>But, given the choice, would she want to keep the other title to herself?</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Okay lang talaga kapag may bago kasi you cannot please everyone. You cannot tell everyone 'Uy I'm still here.' Hindi. Kasi may mga chances talaga.
