Kim will play the female lead to her onscreen love team partner Xian Lim in Must Date the Playboy, the first Kapamilya mobile movie. Kim plays the character of Tory, a simple “no boyfriend since birth” girl and “she must date the playboy (Xian),” to teach him a lesson for hurting her best friend Chloe (played by Jessy Mendiola).

Host Boy Abunda praised Kim for being a good comedic actress. Kim said she has gained confidence as a comedian after her Box Office hit movie Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? Kim added, “after nun, na-imbibe ko na. Hindi na ako nahihiya magtapon ng joke. Bahala na kayo kung matawa kayo o hindi.”

Kim is also playing the role of one of the mistresses in the upcoming movie Etiquette for Mistresses. Kim explained she accepted to do the movie because “kakaibang mistress movie (ito)” and it is also about “woman empowerment.” She will be playing the character of the youngest and “first-time mistress” in the said movie.

Aside from doing movies, Kim is going back to school in September. Kim said, “hindi forever ang what I have now so mas maganda yung meron kang college degree.”

The Chinita Princess also revealed “mas seloso (si Xian.)” She shares that Xian ignores her whenever he gets jealous while she, in that mood, is “tampu-tampuhan.”

Asked if Xian is her Mr. Right, Kim said “yes” and the three words she would say to Xian is “ikaw si Mr. Right.” She also describes Xian as “gwapo.”
