082715-graefernandez_PUSH.jpgGrae Fernandez had the opportunity to personally meet the optimum star Claudine Barretto when the actress had a guest appearance on ASAP Chill Out recently. Claudine was his dad Mark Anthony Fernandez’s former girlfriend during their younger years. Grae admitted that he was “star struck” talking and meeting the actress for the first time.

In an interview with Push.com.ph, he shared, “Mabait po siya, sobrang bait po niya. Actually nong may nagpakilala [sa akin] sa kanya tapos sabi ng nagpakilala ‘This is Grae’, sabi niya ‘Ah you’re the son of Mark’ so parang kilala niya po ako kaya so na ano ako nakita ko ‘Ay kilala pala niya ako’. So when I interviewed [her] parang when I was in ASAP Chill Out because I was a host there po so ‘yun ininterview ko po siya don.”

He added, “Kaunti lang po ‘yung natanong ko sa kanya kasi po parag nakaka-star struck na makakita ng ganong artista so I asked to take a picture po kasi medyo na-star struck po ako sa kanya.” The teen star also relayed that they also shared a funny moment. “Sobrang brief lang po talaga because she was in a hurry pero parang nag-joke po siya ‘yung ano when we had a picture sabi niya ‘Ito na ‘yung next leading man ko.’”

Grae hopes to work with Claudine someday on a project. “Yes of course po kahit sino naman pero na star struck po talaga ako. Nong nakita ko ‘yung trailer for her new movie sobrang mukhang maganda ‘yung acting kaya nandon pa rin ‘yung acting niya [kahit] she’s been on a break for a long time. Kung kaming dalawa po [makakapag-work together] siguro po siya po ‘yung nanay ko at ako po ‘yung anak.”
