John Lloyd even shaved his hair for his role in the film.</a> </div><div><br/></div><div>According to the TIFF website, the movie was described as “A pair of married white-collar swindlers run afoul of their latest victims, in this suspenseful crime drama from celebrated Filipino director Erik Matti.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Honor Thy Father failed to enter the top 8 movies for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year and John Lloyd aired his dismay for not being included in previous interviews.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Di nga kami tinanggap ng</i> MMFF,<i> sayang, ang hinahanap ko rin dun</i> is you know<i> mabigyan din yung, mabigyan ng</i> chance <i>yung mga ganitong klaseng pelikula na mai-</i>showcas<i>e rin sa ganung </i>season. <a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/40190/angelica-panganiban-attends-john-lloyd-cruz-birthday-asalto/'>I believe yung MMFF is para sa lahat ng pelikula eh, hindi lang naman para sa siguradong blockbuster or tumatabo sa takilya,” he commented.</a></div><div><br/></div><div>“Malayo siguro sa criteria na mayroon ang MMFF, and we totally respect that.
