Julia Montes talks about former co-stars Kathryn Bernardo and Coco Martin

081915-juliamontes_push.jpgNow that she's set to star in Doble Kara, Julia Montes admitted that she feels somewhat pressured to outdo her performance in her previous soaps, particularly with the fact that she’s not working with her perennial leading man Coco Martin.

Ngayon medyo sa mga bago ko pong kasama kinakapa ko pa,” she said during the press conference of her new soap.

Julia further confessed that’s she’s still getting used to the idea of not being paired with Coco. It may be recalled that the two have been paired on two soaps namely Walang Hanggan in 2012 and Ikaw Lamang last year.

For her afternoon soap, Julia’s twin characters Sara and Kara will have EA Guzman and newbie Anjo Damiles as their love interest. Yet despite having a new set of co-stars, Julia is confident that she would eventually get comfortable with them.

This time siguro hinahanap ko pa ‘yung talagang kumportable nako sak anila,” she explained.

But the newly-dubbed Royal Princess of Drama quickly added, “Pero happy ako kasi talagang nagrea-reach out po sila na maging kumportable kami sa bawa't isa."

Speaking of her new title, Julia, who has long been pitted against Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo, just shrugged off the idea that critics might compare them anew.

"Of course, Kathryn is Kathryn and I'm happy kung ano na si Kathryn ngayon," she said.

However, since she’s a Royal Princess, it would prove to be quite inevitable to pit her against Kathryn anew and this is something that Julia came to accept.
