Susan Roces to Grace’s detractors: ‘Wala silang karapatang duru-duruin ang anak ko’

081815-susan_main.jpgDuring Susan Roces’ press conference for an endorsement, she was asked by the press about her opinion regarding the black propaganda circulating about her daughter Grace Poe’s citizenship.

Never ko siyang tinawag na adopted, never ko siyang tinawag na ampon, lalong never never ko siyang tinawag na pulot. How dare they use that word! Grace is our daughter. How dare they! Wala silang karapatang duru-duruin ang anak ko at sabihing hindi (Filipino) citizen ang anak ko,” she said.

She even recalled how Grace was found in front of a church in Jaro, Ilo-Ilo and how they worked on her birth certificate.

She then stated that personal attacks on Grace are more painful than the attacks on Fernando Poe Jr. when he ran for presidency in 2004.

Moreover, Susan said “I want to meet all of this in a positive note napakaraming problema ng ating bansa, ito ay pang sarili ko lang na damdamin bilang ina.”
