Maja Salvador is not taking over Angeline Quinto’s role in ‘FPJ: Ang Probinsyano’

081815-maja_main.jpgMaja Salvador will join actor Coco Martin in the remake of Fernando Poe Jr.’s Ang Probinsyano as a policewoman named Glen.

Maja, who worked with Coco previously in Nagsimula sa Puso (2010) and Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin (2011), felt especially excited for their CocoJam fans who waited for four years for their next project together.

Meanwhile, according to a Dreamscape representative, the role that Maja will be taking on is different from what was assigned for Angeline Quinto. The singer-actress was said to have pulled out from the show due to schedule conflicts.

“Totoo naman talaga na ang schedule ni Angge will also not permit her to commit to the Ang Probinsyano’s slot right away but the good news is, in the future run of the series, naka-open ang Ang Probinsyano for that role of Angeline na ‘pag lumuwag-luwag ang kanyang schedule at ma-accommodate niya kaming gawin, papasok siya,” he said, adding that he does not want to elaborate on it for now.
