EXCLUSIVE: Julia Montes says 'Doble Kara' is not a copycat

Julia will be breathing life to twins Sara and Kara on her upcoming soap<i> Doble Kara</i> which is slated to air on August 24 during the Kapamilya Gold slot.</div><div><br/></div><div>After her highly-acclaimed performances in top-rating soaps like <i>Mara Clara, Walang Hanggan, Muling Buksan ang Puso</i>, and<i> Ikaw Lamang </i>Julia admitted that she felt some fear as to what she would be doing next.</div><div><br/></div><div>'Sobra po. Hindi ko po yan maalis sa sarili ko. Sabi ko nga sa sarili ko pagkatapos ng Ikaw Lamang 'Kung mabibigyan kaya ako ulit ng project ano kaya ang ibibigay sa akin?' Sabi ko 'Nakakatakot kung gaano ka-challenging. Ano nanaman ba ang role ko?'' She confessed in an exclusive interview with Push.com.</div><div><br/></div><div>But at the same time, Julia said she's blessed to be surrounded by people who see her potential.</div><div><br/></div><div>'Sabi ko nga swerte ako kung nasaan akong team ngayon dahil inaalagaan nila ako at talagang pinagisipan. Kasi sabi ko nga madali pong magbigay ng trabaho dahil sa estado nila pero 'yung thought na pagkakatiwalaan ka at pagiisipan ka ng role ng buong proyekto. 'Yun talaga alam ko effort and para isipin na ako ang gagawa,' she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Even though her soap has yet to air, several comments online have already started comparing her show to a previous show headlined by Jennylyn Mercado on GMA-7 which tackles schizophrenia.</div><div><br/></div><div>In appears that Julia is aware of such comparison when she explained, 'Yung synopsis ng kabilang show magkaibang magkaiba po kasi ito talaga two persona.'</div><div><br/></div><div>She continued, 'Hindi sila kasi yung sinasabi po na 'may mabait, may salbahe' wala. Both sila. Lahat naman po tayo may good and bad sides. So ito makikita 'yun, good and bad side ng bawat isa.'</div><div><br/></div><div>What's more Julia stressed that there's no single kontrabida on <i>Doble Kara</i>.</div><div><br/></div><div>'Walang isang kontrabida, walang isang mabait. Kumbaga makikita mo 'yung dalawang personality na magkaibang magkaiba, paano sila magja-jive at magka-clash at the same time,' she ended.</div><div><br/></div><div>Catch Julia Montes, EA Guzman, Anjo Damiles, Carmina Villaroel, Mylene Dizon, Ariel Rivera,and Allen Dizon on <i>Doble Kara</i> starting this Monday.</div>
