Melai also acknowledged the effort of Melason fans to support her in the competition. “Sa lahat ng Melason, thank you sa inyong support. Sa walang sawa ninyong pagtext diyan, napudpod na ang mga kamay nila.” She also thanked God for her victory.

Having won Your Face, Melai took home a total of P2 million pesos plus a trophy. While half of the winnings went to her chosen charity, Melai said that she will put the other half into their savings.

What’s next for Melai after Your Face?

“Wala pang (recording) offer pero marami ng mga offer ng mga shows pero wala pang offer ng mga recording kasi mahiya naman ako sa boses ko. Char char,” said the comedienne.
Furthermore, she revealed that she and Jason would like to enjoy Amelia first before having a second baby.

Last Sunday night, June 7, Melai Cantiveros was announced as the first grand winner of Your Face Sounds Familiar at the Resorts World Manila. She impersonated Miley Cyrus and performed "Wrecking Ball" during the competition's grand showdown the night before.

According to Melai, she picked Miley because she is her husband’s crush. She garnered a total of 51.93% of votes.

Meanwhile, Nyoy Volante came in second place with 24.51% of votes while Jay R and Edgar Allan Guzman followed respectively with 16.1% and 7.47%.
Even though the show was a contest, Melai said that they did not compete with one another and instead, her co-contestants even gave her advice. “Sila talaga ang mga tumutulong sa akin. Inaadvice-an nila ako. Akala niyo kompetisyon ito, hindi ‘to kompetisyon kung di pagmamahalan ‘to, bonding ‘to sa aming lahat. Kaya it’s a very bonus na binigay sakin ni Papa God ito sa buhay ko,” she said.
Special awards were also given to the other YFSF contestants. Jolina Magdangal won the Mini-Me award, Maxene Magalona won the Yehey award while Karla Estrada and Tutti Caringal won the Ultimate Diva and Intensity 8 awards respectively.
