Actress Kiray Celis, in several interviews, admitted that she has been bullied, one way or the other, because of her looks, her height and even her sense of style.

Even beauty guru Fanny Serrano helped Kiray and gave her a makeover as he was getting tired of Kiray getting bullied on social media.

Kiray, who is always a positive and happy person, is now paying it forward and has given PUSH some tips on how to overcome bullies to share with you guys.

1. Learn the art of deadma

Having entered show business at the age of 3, Kiray said that she did not get exempted from bullying, “Nung pumasok ako sa pagiging artista, 3 years old ako ‘nung nagstart so wala pang masyadong social media noon.

She then pointed out the importance of learning the art of deadma, especially for public figures, “Siguro ano lang, ‘pag artista ka at kapag lumalabas ka sa TV, kailangan mo lang matutunan ‘yung art of deadma.”

2. Know your capabilities

And be proud of them, according to Kiray.

3. Don’t let them underestimate you

Admitting that she is the smallest in her class, Kiray, nonetheless, never let people underestimate and bully her, particularly boys.

The young comedienne also said that you should never allow bullies to intimidate you.

4. Be confident

Speaking of confidence, Kiray related this to Yeng Constantino’s song for Acer’s #PullitOff and Vice Ganda’s #ProudToBeMe campaigns.

Kagaya nga ng sabi ng Mama Vice ko, ‘proud to be me.’
