Maris Racal says it’s a dream come true to work with Sarah Geronimo
063015-maris_main.jpgAs part of the cast of Star Cinema's newest romantic film The BreakUp Playlist, Maris Racal said she fees honored to be part of another major project. In the film, Maris Racal's role is a teen idol whose love team partner is Diego Loyzaga. Isa kami sa magiging way kung bakit sila (Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual) magkakabalikan. Yung connect namin sa story is the same kami ng sitwasyon na heartbroken si Sarah at si Piolo at saka magkatrabaho. Kami din ni Diego Loyzaga. Nakakatuwa na nakakakilig din,” she told Push.com.ph

The 17-year-old actress said acting onscreen has become more comfortable for her after joining Pinoy Big Brother last year. She credits her co-stars Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual for an unforgettable shooting experience. “Yes parang mas madali na ngayon kasi naka-tatlong movie na ata ako with big stars so mas na-less na yung pressure. Nakakakatuwa kasi sobrang humble talaga nila. Kahit Sarah G. at Piolo Pascual yan sobrang humble pa rin. At first na-star struck ako (laughs) pero until now kasi si Papa P nakaka-star struck. Siguro yung pagka-star struck ko sa kanya forever na,” she said.

Maris said not once did she feel intimidated doing scenes with two of the Kapamilya network's top stars. “Hindi po, as in. Tumatawa kami lagi,” she said.

Another blessing for Maris was the chance to finally work with her longtime idol. Ang nakikita ko lang kasi sa kanya dati is yung Sarah the performer and there's more than that, yung totoong Sarah talaga na simple lang, humble, ganun,” she explained.
063015-maris_main.jpgHaving experienced the pain of breaking up herself last year before she became a housemate, Maris said joining the reality show was really a blessing in disguise. “Siyempre masakit din. 16 years old ako nun. Kasi I was in the stage of moving on nun nung nasa loob ako. So parang hindi naman masyado masakit kasi parang na-divert yung mind ko dun,” she recalled.

After first being paired with Manolo Pedrosa in the movie Stars Versus Me, Maris said working with Diego Loyzaga is a different experience. May kanya-kanya silang charm. Si Manolo sobrang charming and sobrang cute. When asked if she still wants the MarNolo love team to continue, Maris said she hopes they can still do projects together in the future.
