Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano are on their way back to the Philippines after spending almost a week in California for the premiere and promotion of their movie “Just The Way You Are.”
Liza was also able to catch up with her mother and siblings, whom she hasn’t seen in seven years.
The actress’ mom, Jacqulyn, became emotional when she bid her daughter farewell at the San Francisco International Airport.
In an interview by Mychos.com, Enrique shared what Liza’s mom told him. “Nagkausap kami nung umalis na kami, nauna na si [Liza]. Umiiyak ['yung mommy niya] tapos niyakap ako. Sabi niya, ‘Take care of her ha?’
Enrique answered “I will tita,” and he asked Liza’s mother to visit the Philippines next year.
“Sabi ko, come back here sa Manila, pumunta sila dito sa Philippines to visit next year. Ita-try daw nila. Kung hindi, kami ang bibili ng ticket para sa kanila,” Enrique revealed.
“Masaya po [ako na nakasama ko 'yung mommy ko]. Marami kaming time para mag-bonding. Sumama siya sa premiere tapos nag-Great America kami and nag-shopping pa kami,” Liza also shared.
