Judy Ann Santos admits she would like to have twins
062315-judy_main.jpgAt the book launch for Judy Ann's Kitchen, Judy Ann Santos said she is happy to finally release her very first cookbook.

“Actually dapat May yung launch and then we had little problems along the way so we said let's just bring it out in the market when it's really, really ready. Natutuwa lang ako na everybody's very, very supportive especially ABS-CBN and Dreamscape,” she shared during her presscon held last June 19 at the Swatch building in Makati.

With the recent announcement of her pregnancy, Juday admitted she is still adjusting towards the second trimester.

“Everything is okay. Siguro medyo mas hirap lang yung bangon sa umaga, siguro kasi four and a half years ako huling nagbuntis so naninibago ulit yung katawan ko. Sabi naman nila each pregnancy is totally different so ngayon parang mas antukin lang ako. Huwag lang ako malingat tulog ako (laughs),” she admitted.

The Kapamilya star she was hoping to have twins. Pero okay lang basta the baby is healthy.

Unlike other expecting moms, the Judy Ann's Kitchen author said she has yet to have any serious cravings.

062315-judy_main.jpgThe 37-year-old host said she and husband Ryan Agoncillo have been planning to have a baby, but did not want to hurry with the announcement.

“We've been trying to have a baby for the longest time pero hindi na namin masyado ine-effort-an kasi ako talaga medyo mahirap ako magbuntis even with Lucho. Nag-(pregnancy) test ako lang ako kasi we had a friend from Japan na nagbanggit lang sa akin na, 'Mars, napanaginipan kita buntis ka daw.' Tapos binalikan ko, parang wala pa akong period. So nag-PT ako, dun lumabas na positive. And then I called my OB. And kuya na talaga siya,” she explained.

When she had an ultrasound, Juday said no one was more amazed than Lucho. The bunso of the family discovered the news on his mom's phone.

“Si Lucho saw my phone. Pinicture-an kasi namin yung nasa Instagram. Hindi pa kasi nila alam kasi nasa school sila nun eh. Tapos nakita niya sabi niya, 'What's that?' Sabi ko, 'Sweetheart that's your baby.' Sabi niya, 'Where? Inside?' Sabi ko, 'Yeah, the baby's inside mommy's' tummy.' So yun na nanlaki na yung mata.' Sabi niya, 'Wow you have a baby inside!' Parang every time that he will ask, parang palagi siyang surprised. Tapos ngayon every single day mag-gu-good morning siya sa baby, mag-gu-good morning siya sa tiyan ko. Mag-gu-good night siya sa baby. Pagdating niya from school hihimasin niya yung tiyan ko. Tapos every morning we would always talk about the baby. Si Yohan is so excited to be an ate again. May mga ganun sila,” she said.

Juday said she thinks her kids both had a sixth sense about the new baby's arrival.

“At saka for some reason, for the first few weeks na hindi pa namin alam yung pregnancy, both our kids were very malambing. Yung yakap ng yakap, kiss ng kiss. Hindi umaalis sa kili-kili ko. Nakakaramdam na pala sila. Siyempre hindi naman namin alam nung mga time na yun,” she added.

In just a few months, Juday said she has noticed a lot of positive changes in her son.

“For some reason parang nag-mature siya bigla. Bigla siyang naging makulit, bigla siyang maligalig. Pero ‘pag pinagsabihan mo nakikinig. It's just that for some reason may extra happiness lang sa kilos niya na mararamdaman mo talaga kasi he's not naman normally like that. Nakakatuwa,” she shared.

During Father's day, their family chose a low-key celebration at home.

Yun yung pinaka-bonding na nila,” she said.
