Enrique Gil understands the ‘request’ of Liza Soberano’s father

<div><img src='' alt='062315-lizaenrique_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>John Soberano, fast-rising star Liza Soberano’s father, has made one thing clear with his daughter’s current admirer Enrique Gil about their obvious attraction to one another.</div><div><br/></div><div>This was revealed by the <i>Just The Way You Are </i>actress in a recent interview with PEP.</div><div><br/></div><div>“May understanding<i> na bawal pa talaga.</i> My dad talked to him about that<i> na sana hanggang maari work muna,</i> wait for me to be fully ready, when the right time comes, and<i> sabi naman niya </i>he’s willing to wait,” Soberano said.</div><div><br/></div><div>It was a few weeks ago when Enrique publicly admitted his feelings for Liza. <a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/39401/liza-soberano-on-enrique-gil-may-mutual-understanding-kami/'>This was followed by the Fil-American actress’s confession that they now have a mutual understanding</a>. </div><div><br/></div><div>Despite this, Enrique stressed that he completely understands where Liza’s father is coming from. Liza has been very vocal in previous interviews that she is currently her family’s breadwinner hence the need to stay focused at work first.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“May understanding na I have to wait, but she also understands na special siya sa akin. Siya lang, alam niya ‘yun,”</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Kahit wala namang label okay lang sa akin basta special siya sa akin,”</i> he added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Liza has likewise confirmed that she is not ready yet to be in a relationship. But this seemingly is not stopping Enrique from expressing his feelings for her.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Alam niya na I’m waiting for her. Until that day comes, siya lang talaga. I promised sa lahat, to the Lord, siya lang talaga,”</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Liza is set to turn 18 by January next year.</div>
