Former housemate and now Pinoy Big Brother host Robi Doming shared his advice for all the new housemates of the famous yellow house this season. In an interview with Push.com.ph, Robi stressed the importance of resilience when living inside the house. “For the incoming housemates they need to have that sense of resiliency whatever happens inside the house you know Kuya is going to get into your system, alam niya, kikilatisin niya ang pagkatao mo.”
He added that being true to oneself is also very important in making it inside the PBB house. “All you have to do is to bounce back and show who you really are. If you have something to hide, takot ka na kasi lalabas at lalabas ‘yan but if you are true to yourself, if you are true to our Kapamilyas, you don’t need to be scared about it.”
Robi will be hosting the show alongside Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez. Despite doing hosting gigs for numerous years already, he admitted that he still feels pressure being part of the show. “I am super pressured. I’ve been working with the best ever since, sina Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez. Sa The Voice, I’ve been working with Alex (Gonzaga), Yeng (Constantino), Luis Manzano. Here in ASAP it’s like the pot of the greatest artists and singers so up to now I’m still pressured but I’m thankful for that pressure because I am immersed with the best and that’s the way to go eh. If you want to be the best, you have to be with the best.”
Robi remarked that he will never get tired of hosting since it is his passion. “It all boils down to—at the end of the day—if you think that your work is your work then you would definitely feel tired, mauubos ka pero if you enjoy everything that you’re doing, there’s no need to rest kasi for me whenever I see ASAP, whenever I see The Voice, Man Up, PBB, MYX, I see a playground,” he said.
