PBB737 housemate Jimboy Martin says he got noticed in the auditions because of his rapping skills

On Star Patrol, although popular as an MVP player in his school, Pinoy Big Brother 737 housemate Jimboy Martin said he wants to be known as a rapper more than a basketball player. His idol is Filipino rapper Gloc-9.

On June 17, Jimboy showcased his talent in rapping on It’s Showtime. Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis accompanied him onstage as his back-up dancers. 

He was noticed during the auditions because of the same talent. A sample of his rapped introduction goes, “Tubong Nueva Viscaya na magpapasaya/ Gagawin ang lahat ng aking makakaya/ Upang balang araw makatulong sa pamilya.”
