Nora Aunor says she has an MMFF entry this year

<div><img src='' alt='061815-nora_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>The <i>Metro Manila Film Festival </i>is not until six months, but it seems that future entrants will have a tough competition in the person of Superstar Nora Aunor.</div><div><br/></div><div>Aunor during the 38th Gawad Urian awards night announced that her film <i>Kabisera </i>would be part of the MMFF lineup come December.</div><div><br/></div><div>The movie would be helmed by indie film director Real Florido and is said to be based on true-to-liife family drama which would have a crime thriller twist.</div><div><br/></div><div>Apart from that Aunor would also be making a new film.</div><div><br/></div><div>'May susunod ako 'yung <i>Kabisera </i>tapos 'yung samin ni Direk Adolf Alix na kukunan namin sa ibang bansa ang <i>Eskaparate</i>,' she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Aunor, who is supposed to have a throat operation this month, claimed that she would first finish shooting Kabisera before she would head on to Boston for her surgery. The actress's upcoming operation is intended to correct the problem caused by cosmetic surgery that she underwent in Japan back in 2010.</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, the multi-awarded star received the Natatanging Gawad Urian award that night and while onstage, the prized star was just not able to hold back her tears.</div><div><br/></div><div>'Napakasaya ko at kanina ko lang naramdaman 'yung pakiramdam ng bigyan ka ng Lifetime Achievement Award ng Manunuri at talagang damang-dama ko kaya di ko napigilang maiyak pati 'yung aking sasabihin ay nakalimutan ko na,' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>She added, ''Yun ay iniaalay ko sa mga kaibigan, sa mga fans at sa mga taong patuloy paring naniniwala sa akin.'</div><div><br/></div><div>Aunor during her acceptance speech emotionally thanked her supporters who have been with her throughout her years in the business not only during the good times, but even during the bad times.</div><div><br/></div><div>She also said, 'Hindi naman kaila sa inyo na madalas po akong madapa pero dahil po sa mga taong nagtitiwala parin sakin. Ako po ay muling bumabangon.</div><div><br/></div><div>'Minsan madapa, kailangan bumangon at gumawa ng isang magandang pelikula para maipakita uli kung ano ang ibinigay ng Diyos na talento na magpahanggang ngayon ay ipinapagpasalamat ko dahil sa ito ay nakikilala parin ng mga tao at ng mga manonood at nagugustuhan pa rin ng mga manonood ang lahat ng pelikulang ginagawa ko,' Aunor said. 'Pinapangako ko sa inyo na ako ay magkakaroon ng inspirayon mula sa gabing ito dahil sa pagbibigay sakin ng Natatanging Gawad Urian.'</div>
