Liza said that she still had difficulty doing some scenes in the upcoming romantic comedy. “Yung isang scene sa trailer where I say, 'Are you man enough?' Sobrang hiyang hiya ako nun (laughs). Nagpaturo pa ako dun sa crew namin kung paano. Pati kay direk tinuruan niya ako,” she revealed.
The 17-year-old actress said she never expected her sudden rise to fame after doing the soap. “When I entered showbiz hindi ko naman ini-expect ito yung mangyayari. Parang in showbiz I didnt expect anything I just wanted to give it a try. I didn't think na aabot sa point na magkakaroon ako ng sarili kong show. But along the way nagustuhan ko din talaga siya. Na-inspire ako lalo. I keep working with such great actors and actresses. Parang it inspired me to do workshops and mag-Tagalog lessons. Especially since thee they tell you kung anong kulang sa 'yo at kailangan mo matutunan. And then nung nag-Forevermore mas lalo talaga ako na-inspire. Especially since I found out what works for me, what really helps me and I also learned how to open myself up. Before parang takot ako to express how I really feel on the inside. Kasi in real life I'm not the type of person to tell people how I really feel. I had multiple workshops and I had a workshop with ate Ana Feleo. She told me that it's okay to let people know how you feel and I guess that's what opened me up more,” she added.
During a recent blogger's conference at Star Cinema, the Fil-Am beauty said she still feels the same kilig with Enrique Gil even though she has been working with him almost everyday for the past few months. “Hindi naman po nabawasan (yung kilig). Oo naman comfortable ako maka-work siya. Andun pa rin naman yung kilig. Sometimes nga bago kami gumawa ng kilig na eksena he says to me, 'Kailangan kiligin tayo!' (laughs) Dito sa movie mas maraming kilig moments, mas maraming happy and funny moments kesa sa yung mga kurot sa puso na moments,” she said.
As the popularity of their love team rises, Liza admitted she and Quen discuss how they present themselves to their fans. “We talk about it, what our strengths are, parang what works for us and what doesn't. Siguro napag-usapan lang namin na parang our strength is we can be very parang innocent yung characters but we can also play like in the movie, not naman sensual but a little more playful or parang nag-ti-tease. But it doesn't take away the wholesomeness of the love team. Sa movie namin, it's far from Forevermore kasi dito we speak in English, basta sobrang layo ng characters namin. Mararamdaman mo pa rin yung pagka-wholesome and innocence nung characters,” she said.
Unlike her character Sophia in Just the Way You Are, Liza said she considers herself a risk taker when it comes to love. Even though she has yet to have a boyfriend, the Kapamilya actress admitted how she feels about the subject. “I'm not the kind of person kasi na takot mag-love. When I want to love someone I want to give it all. Pero the thing I'm afraid of lang is losing the trust. Diyan ako takot. I start thinking badly of that person and I start thinking badly of myself kasi I think, 'Why would he betray my trust? What happened?' So ganun ako. When I want to love someone I want to jump into it but just with people I trust, ganun,” she said.
